Author Discusses Martin Luther & the Protestant Reformation

Tune in to KAZI Book Review Monday, July 6 at 8 a.m. CST for my interview with James Reston, Jr., author of LUTHER’S FORTRESS: Martin Luther and His Reformation Under Siege.

In LUTHER’S FORTRESS, Reston focuses on the most crucial time in the life of the theologian who sparked the protestant reformation, April 1521-March 1522.  During this time period, while in hiding from officials of the Roman Catholic church which had declared him a convicted heretic, Luther established and refined theological ideas that changed the world of Christianity.  His movement succeeded in large part thanks to the explosion of the printing industry.  His writings were printed and distributed throughout Europe and he became its bestselling author.

James Reston Jr. is an acclaimed historian and the author of 15 books including the international bestseller, Warriors of God.
