Listen to Interview Feb 17 with Simon Tolkien
What if there was a German mole in the British secret service during World War 2. What if he was ordered to assassinate Winston Churchill. This is the basic plot of the new novel by Simon Tolkien, author of Orders of Berlin. Tolkien’s interview will be aired at 12:30 p.m. February 17 on KAZI Book Review on KAZI 88.7 FM. Here is an excerpt from the novel:
"It's September 1940. France has fallen and London is being bombed day and night. The threat of invasion looms, but Britain's unwavering leader, Winston Churchill refuses to negotiate with the Nazis. Maddened by Churchill's determination to stand his ground, Hitler devises a plan to have him assassinated. A mole burrowed deep in the MI6 receives his orders from Berlin and at the moment of crisis only a young detective and a bereaved woman stand in his way."
